The cottage is located in one of the islands of Ukonselkä called Salonsaari. Even though the lake is big, the island is only five minutes’ boat trip away from the boat harbour. The cottage is found on the sheltered side of the island, so even a strong wind won’t hamper the boat ride.

The cottage has a bedroom, kitchenette and a loft. The cottage is electrified, providing for the stove, refigerator and television. The oven retains heat well, so it isa fast way of warming the cottage on a cold day.

On the beach there is a nice sauna. Next to the sauna there is a practical boathouse where a motorboat can be held. The boat and outboard motor are included in the rent.
